Liz Roche

Hi! I'm Coach Liz and I love youth sports! I am a former high school cheerleader (4-time State Qualifier and 1996 IL State Champion) and a former collegiate cheerleader for the DePaul Blue Demons! I have four kids and as I've navigated their sports experiences, I've noticed some gaps in the industry, including underserved populations. We created FeNIX to fill these gaps and give a place for our athletes to excel in a multitude of ways. I can't wait to meet your athlete!

Hi my name is Jennifer. I have been a long time cheer mom turned assistant coach last year. Working with the athletes was so rewarding I had to continue to coach this year. I have learned from the best and continue to learn each practice.
Tanner Bennett
Flag Football Coach
Tanner is a multisport athlete and loves flag football. He plays tackle football, runs winter track, and plays lacrosse for Crystal Lake Central High school. He has 5 years of flag football experience at the MAC and is super excited for these upcoming camps, not only to have fun but to teach and spread the amazing sport of flag football!
Ray Forestor
Flag Football Coach
Coach Forestor has a coaching career dating back to 2000. In that time period he was a member of a multiple time state championship program at Driscoll Catholic High School. Since then he coached for two seasons at Washington Middle School in West Aurora, two seasons at Larkin High School in Elgin and most recently spent two seasons coaching with Jacobs High School. In those two seasons he was the freshman and sophomore defensive coordinator and offensive line coach, and in the 2023 season, was the head freshman and sophomore coach.
Becky Lane
Head Cheer Coach
Hi! I’m coach Becky and this is my first year as a FeNIX coach! I am a former high school cheerleader (4-time State Qualifier and 1996 IL State Champion) and a former D-III collegiate cheerleader, with a summer stint as a UCA instructor. I also cheered on competitive all star teams from college into my 30’s. I have coached and choreographed for several all star and high school teams and am proud to have coached a 2nd place finish in Cheerleaders of America National Championship (2002 - Sr Open All Girl). I particularly enjoy teaching fundamentals, building team dynamic, and pushing my choreography skills. In my personal life, I’m a supply chain analyst by day and mom to three kids who love all types of activities. I’m looking forward to the 2024 season - see you on the mat!
Lexi Miller

Hi my name is Lexi and I am a varsity cheerleader at Crystal Lake South H.S. This will be my second year assistant coaching/junior coaching and I am so excited for it! I love teaching new cheerleaders and seeing them hit new skills for the first time. I can’t wait for our Fenix cheerleaders to experience competing this season. Go Fenix!
Maddie Stanley
Flag Football Coach
I graduated this December from Huntley High School. I’m originally from Atlanta, GA where I started playing girl’s flag football 2 years ago. When I moved to Illinois, Huntley didn’t have any flag football and Rockford was the closest place that offered it. I traveled there every week for 2 years to play with the Rockford Park District and Harlem High School girl’s flag football team. I was blessed to be named part of the Second Team All-State in Illinois this year and was able to participate in events at the Chicago Bears Halas Hall.

I’m so excited to be apart of this flag football journey that’s a little closer to home and help these younger athletes learn to love the sport as much as I do!
